We have had a lot of fun but now we are taking a break.
We will be back in 2021 to take on the town with more art/ventures.
Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for updates.
Thanks to the 48 contributing artists /historians, ANU School of Art and Design students – (video, animation, print and drawing) and their lecturer’s Dr Lucien Leong and Dr Anna Raupach and the National Film and Sound Archive for archival material.
(See About Us for a full list of contributors)
We sold out all 8 events with 129 people joining us for a Twilight video walk.
We had our biggest group ever on Saturday night (29 Nov 2020).
Great that Ed, Leon and John from Frugii Desert Laboratory could join us too.
Comments:
The experience redefined spaces I occupy every day.
Diversity was great – Aboriginal view, role women played, view of artists, politics and the stories of how it was before.
I loved all the archival footage and the artistic interpretations.
A creative and interesting way to introduce newly arrived friends to the art and stories of our town.
Thanks to Neil Hobbs and Karina Harris and the amazing Contour556/2020 team and our other financial and cultural content supporters who made it all possible.
