Canberra is a city synonymous with power, politics and polemics. Join Localjinni on a Miss-guided tour of the city at night,  as we uncover stories of those who shaped Australia but were written out of its arts history. A feminist led, walking art experience revealing submerged stories about Lake Burley Griffin. Along the way we screen works by some of CBR’s leading lights, on a mobile film and sound show, including archival and experimental film, dance, visual art, animation, songs, poetry, docos, and social yarning.

Tree worship is universal, as is our symbiotic relationship to trees. Come and explore Canberra’s heritage listed, 100-year-old Cork Forest. Join a cohort of Localjinni’s as we throw light on this enchanted wood, make walking drawings, and meditate on the nature of trees. Wander with the moon and share the magic of night in collective safety.
