Localjinni is a women\u2019s led arts tourism service, mobilising cinema for people powered, public art.<\/p>\n

We screen visual art, poetry, music, film, oral history and digital stories on the street, lighting up park benches, walls, paths and buildings.<\/p>\n

Think of us as art street vendors\u2014operating outside\u00a0of the branded tourism venues.<\/p>\n

(Localjinni\u2019s name is inspired by many cultures. A Jinni<\/a> being a spirit inhabiting the earth and associated with things unseen in North African, Egyptian, Syrian and Turkish literature. In Roman mythology Genius Loci<\/a>\u00a0is a protective spirit of place. In\u00a0Wiradjuri language, Jinni means light on water.)[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]
