As a social enterprise Localjinni works to achieve a social outcome, telling untold stories, and making the night-time city more fun, more of the time. We lead power walks, with a percentage of every ticket sold going to commission new works by local artists.
We will be screening a raft of new digital content, in association with our upcoming Dynamo Hub and Bespoke City Tours event in early 2022, see About Us for artist bios.
Identity by Marissa McDowell (director and producer), Tammi Gisell (dancer and narrator) and Teresa Wojcik (composer and musician).
A First Nation video exploring identity, sexuality, and place.
The lake by Ellis Hutch
The work will be an atmospheric 2-channel video work drawing on the experience of being ‘on’ the lake.
Presented as a brief narrative of the sights and sounds of the lake from dawn to dusk.
